One of the best parts about moving to a new city is exploring all the unique twists, turns, nooks, and crannies. Los Angeles is, by far, one of the most multicultural cities in the U.S. There's something new and different to try on every street corner. From Little Ethiopia to Little Tokyo, one could tour the globe without packing a bag.

Many people remarked about the surprising amount of nature in my recent post about Lake Hollywood Park. To the surprise of many, #LA has a good mix of natural and urban living. But by far what most people think of when they think of #LosAngelesCA is the #palmtree-lined boulevards. So, why not give the public what they want!?! 😝
Finding Things to Do in Los Angeles
Google Maps was a life saver when I first arrived in Los Angeles. The freeway system is complex, not to mention the hundreds of different neighborhoods. My friends, I can't even begin to tell you how many times I got lost or went completely out of my way to get from point A to point B.
Along the way, I started saving points of interest as a way to mark my map and remember things I'd done or wanted to do. Over time the map grew and grew. So, I started sending it to my family and friends that were coming to visit Los Angeles. This kickass map helped them plan their perfect visit, so I know it will help you.
After five years, I still use this map to inspire my local adventures. They help feed the travel bug when travel just simply isn't in the budget. My helpful map is ideal for anyone planning a trip to Los Angeles. Plus, it's also perfect for locals looking for interesting things to do on the weekends in the city.
