great gift ideas for travelers

Victorinox Luggage Packing Cube Set

Help the traveler in your life pack smart with a good packing system. There are many tricks to packing well. Although I am not a packing expert, I do know these systems, like the one listed below, can help travelers stay organized and save space. If nothing else, it works as a good way to sort clean vs dirty laundry while traveling.

NeatPack Hanging Toiletry Bag

No traveler can live without a good toiletry bag to keep their must-haves organized. Who here has fallen victim to a poorly designed toiletry bag: lotion explosions, leaking makeup, lost hairpins, or sliced fingers? Ouch! Be victimized no more with an easy-to-use, organized bag like the one featured.

JBL Flip 4 Waterproof Portable Bluetooth Speaker

Any music-loving traveler will love a good portable speaker. Bring this along on any trip to enjoy your favorite tunes in your temporary digs. Ours gets plenty of use and has even been campfire-side. Do your traveler a favor and drop this in their stocking this holiday season.

City Scratch-off Maps

Send your traveler on the journey of a lifetime on their next adventure with any of these fun interactive maps. Your traveler will have a blast scavenging for clues while sightseeing in many major cities around the world. These maps are fun for the whole family, perfect for all ages!

Hikeren Universal World-Wide Travel Adapter USB Charger with Safety Fuse Protection

Help the international traveler in your life ensure their portable devices are fully charged with an international plug adapter, especially one with a fuse protector. Having a multi-country tool like the one listed here makes the life of the well-traveled a little easier. Buy one and done!

Leatherman Juice CS4 Multi Tool

Make sure the rugged traveler in your life has what they need to survive in the wild with a trusty multi-tool. Whether your loved one is a hiker, backpacker or simply MacGyver, this tool has it all. But let's be real, there may be nothing worse than realizing you can't open that beautiful bottle of Chablis you just bought on your tour of Burgundy...Remember though boys & girls, this goes in your checked luggage.

Solid Perfume

Keep your traveler smelling heavenly with a travel-friendly solid perfume. Now, I don't know about you, but I prefer to smell nice. I also prefer my fellow travelers to smell nice. Having a handy solid perfume takes care of two problems: 1) smelliness and 2) TSA restrictions on liquids.

FLEXi 4-in-1 Convertible Travel Pillow

Help the long-distance traveler in your life get a few zzz's with a good travel pillow. This convertible pillow is perfect for those restless flights when you just can't seem to get comfortable.

Lonely Planet Travel Guides

If your traveler is planning a big trip, consider getting them a travel guidebook. I highly recommend Lonely Planet guides and have quite the collection already. Developed by seasoned travelers and locals, each guide is full of insider tips. The smaller guides are perfectly sized for light-packers, making them convenient on the road. The larger guides are chock-full of great suggestions of where to stay, what to eat, what to experience and what to see. You'll send your traveler off on the right foot with any of these terrific guides.

Jade Voyager Travel Mat

Help your traveling yogi take that peaceful feeling wherever they go with a compact travel yoga mat. Having your mat with you means you are more likely to practice. This mat easily folds up (or rolls) for easy packing.

PacSafe Citysafe LS300 Anti-Theft Backpack

No traveler can be without a reliable bag. And no traveler can have too many travel bags. Give your traveler the gift of safekeeping with this essential travel bag from PacSafe. Your traveler will love knowing that their belongings are safe from would-be thieves. The compact size makes it perfect for day outings. It's large enough to hold a laptop yet small enough not to break their back after a long day of sight-seeing. The RFID pockets are an extra special bonus, protecting your traveler from identity theft both at home and abroad. This must-have backpack comes in two sizes (LS300 and CS350), perfect for big and small travelers.

PacSafe's Carrysafe® 200 anti-theft camera strap

Does your traveler love to show off their travel photos? If so, you may want to consider giving them a theft-proof camera strap. Photos are a great way to preserve travel memories. So, keeping their camera protected while on the road is essential. Luckily Pacsafe offers a slash-proof camera strap, perfect for keeping one of their most prized possessions safe. Their patented technology protects their gear without the need for extreme measures. Best of all, it's super comfortable with soft, cushioned neck support that makes carrying a heavy camera easier for weary travelers.

PacSafe's RFIDsafe™ V250 RFID Blocking Travel Wallet

Give your traveler peace of mind about their personal information with an RFDI-blocking wallet. The RFID chips store personal information which is passed along during key transactions (border control, TSA checks, monetary transactions). The stored information results in faster transactions but can also be vulnerable to hackers. PacSafe offers several innovative designs that incorporate material technology necessary for identity protection for those carrying RFID  credit cards and passports. These wallets work by blocking radio frequencies which help protect personal information from being read by counterfeit RFID readers.

Stylish Camera Bag

For the more style-conscious traveler, consider getting a stylish camera bag. Your traveler will thank you when they see either of these classic looks. They'll stand out in the crowd of sight-seers clamoring for the perfect shot. Look for classic styles in weatherproof materials like leather or waxed canvas. Your traveler will thank you.

Bedtime Bliss Contoured & Comfortable Sleep Mask

A great sleep mask is essential for the traveler who loves red-eye flights. Even the lightest sleeper will be able to catch some zzz's with this contoured sleep mask from Bedtime Bliss. The nose bridge helps to block light and provides maximum comfort. Give your traveler the gift of sleep with this luxury sleep mask.

Vumos' TSA Approved Refillable Squeezable Silicone Bottles with Clear EVA Toiletry Case

Make the life of your beloved traveler a little easier with a TSA-approved reusable quart-sized bag. Stop using Ziploc bags and move up in the world with a sleek, new clear toiletry case for carry-on. Even better, I found one with leak-proof refillable bottles.

RHA's MA750i Premium, noise-canceling in-ear headphone (for iPhone)

No music-loving traveler should be without a pair of high-quality earbuds to jam with during transit. Everyone has a favorite brand and style of bud, but you should consider this pair from RHA. Made with reinforced materials, these buds come with a three-year warranty which makes the price excellent. With a variety of buds to choose from, you can find something for even the picky traveler in your life. The handy travel case is another plus 🙂

Anker PowerCore Portable Charger

By giving a portable power pack, you can ensure your traveler has a fully charged cell phone battery even when outlets are scarce. Now, there are many varieties of power pack to choose from, but I can only vouch for the reliability of our Tumi power pack. Fit with multiple USB ports, this sleek power pack can charge two devices at once. It has definitely come in handy during past travels.

Raden A22 Carry-On Luggage

Or better yet get your traveler one of the newest gadgets on the travel market: high-tech luggage. This awesome carry-on can charge your phone. Plus, it can be located remotely and locked wirelessly. Your traveler will never be without the battery power needed to recharge their favorite devices. Best of all, it's TSA approved!

You Are Here Travel Journal

What a better way for your traveler to etch their travel memories in stone than a great travel journal. With writing prompts and exercises, this unique journal takes the anxiety out of journaling and gives your traveler a foundation to build on when they put pen to paper. Help your traveler bring home more than just photos on their next journey.

Isn’t it though, Candice!? I am a TERRIBLE packer and always pack way too much. The cubes are a helpful reminder that I probably don’t need those 3 extra shirts, etc. Thanks for your comment.
